Description

A set of reproduction Indo-Persian armor comprises a Kulah Khud helmet with a domed skull, an artificially aged finish, a tall central spike, two plume holders at the front of the bowl, brass rosette bosses, a central sliding nasal bar bracket, and patinated iron chainmail neck defense. The set also includes a pair of Bazu Band (Vambrace) arm guards, a circular Dhal shield, and two pairs of domed rectangular armor for body protection. Each piece is decorated in a similar style, and the circular shield features additional Khanjar (push dagger) decorations. The armor plates measure 28 x 23.5cm and 39.5 x 31cm. This set was previously purchased from a souk in Manama, Bahrain. (8)
